I read in the local Newspaper a article about how after a survey was concluded that it showed that local people had not gone to the hospital to deal with injuries as they were afraid of being dobbed into Cyfs, police etc it quoted " some families have had such a negative experiences in dealing with work and income and Cyfs and rather than return there they go to wider family for financial support or they endure hardship, unquote".
MAYBE THEY ARE FINALLY WAKING UP to what is happening in the Wairarapa.

Wairarapa people are indeed afraid to deal with CYFS, WINZ, the Police, and other agencies, because these agencies are being run by incompetent, corrupt, and often very vindictive people.

We must encourage more people to speak up against this national shame.
This happened to me in 1996, many people spoke up about it, but one completely unqualified CYFS case worker cut off communication entirely because my daughters father said he had custody and she lived with her - he wasn't on her birth certificate and had nothing to do with her, and never had.
Transparency in NZ is that strong voice, you keep writing about this, and make requests for all information held by CYFS, Police etc, about the matters, under the Privacy Act and the Official Information Act.
